We all need a bit of sunshine in our day don’t we? In the United Kingdom, some days that sunshine can be hard to come by! So why not spread the sunshine through the post? Technology has made our life far easier and faster however, we’ve lost the lovely art of doing things by hand. Sending an email, ordering presents online, contacting someone through WhatsApp or a text message…that is the way we work nowadays. But it doesn’t mean we can’t go “old school” and send a letter or card, right?
The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is simple: Sign up through the form at the bottom of this post or on the right sidebar and you will become one of the (hopefully) many Embrace Happy Snail Mail participants. I will email you the name and address of another Embrace Happy Snail Mail participant, you simply have to send that person a card or postcard by the end of this month. For the cost of a postage stamp and a card & envelope you will receive a card from another participant as well as myself. The card can be anything you like and can include anything you like. Perhaps you could send a recipe, an inspirational quote, a joke, a drawing or a little message about yourself? You are simply sending something to brighten someone’s day!
Last month, in the first installment of Embrace Happy Snail Mail, 24 lovely participants signed up, 3 of whom were international! I was so pleased! Wouldn’t it be brilliant to double that in April? There are no conditions or terms or massive cost involved in participating and your return on investment is priceless! What do you have to lose? Sign ups will be running from Friday 4 April through Friday 11 April. Participants will have until the end of April to send their cards out. Here is your chance to take part in a wonderful programme. We are spreading happiness one smile at a time!
