40 #embracehappy Acts- Day Two

Yesterday I experienced some site difficulties. Someone was able to hack into Embrace Happy! My only hope is that they are now thoroughly happy but I kind of doubt it! At any rate, if you were unable to access Embrace Happy yesterday, I do apologise (watches tumbleweeds blow by). We should be back at full-strength today. I do wonder why anyone would bother to hack a website or blog that is relatively harmless. I mean, I can understand hacking into Amazon or the Ministry of Defence but a simple website?? Huh! Anyhoo…it’s Lent, it’s Day Two. Are you ready for your challenge? Here we go!

Yesterday was Day One of Lent. I kept it simple for yesterday and just asked everyone to look into themselves and make a commitment to do their #3goodthings exercise for 40 days. Today is a bit of a fun challenge. Today I am asking you to write a letter or card to a local friend or family member who has helped you out recently. Instead of buying a stamp and relying on the postman (or woman) to delivery sunshine, do it YOURSELF! Stop by the local news agent, shop or supermarket and pick up a sweet treat to attach to your card or letter and deliver it to their door. Maybe be a Happiness Ninja and just drop it though the door or postbox and run? Maybe knock and brighten their day with your smile as well as sweeties and a card? But just do it. Let your friends and family know how much they mean to you and how much they have helped you. If we all acknowledged good deeds and kindness more often, the world would be a far happier place.

What are you waiting for? Find a card, a piece of paper, an envelope, some decorative tape or stickers and just have fun. Day Two of 40 #embracehappy Acts is an easy and fun one. Who will you deliver your card to today?

Pssst, an remember, at the end of each day…#3goodthings for 40 days! Make a commitment, make a habit, make a difference! #embracehappy
