**Yes, I know…yesterday was the 26th…time got away from me…**
Yesterday was my father-in-law’s birthday. When I took Sammy into preschool in the morning, I told one of his keyworkers that it was Grandad’s birthday and mayyyyy-be they could help Sammy to make a picture or a card or something?? And in the end, they helped Sam to make a lovely card! Sam told his keyworker that he wanted to make hearts and write his name. His wonderful card had hearts, a bit of glitter, Sam’s name and some swirly circles (he’s excellent at swirly circles, by the way) and was protected in a hand-made paper envelope. Just perfect. This is what Sammy’s preschool does. They go above and beyond and really make a difference in the lives of their children. Sam told all of the ladies that we were “going to the pub” for Grandad’s party so they were all excited for our plans. I love our preschool.
We did indeed go to the pub last night. It’s a pub near my brother and sister-in-law’s house and amazingly, the pub caters HAPPILY for gluten free dining! The chef is Coeliac so always makes the necessary accomodations. I actually had fish & chips. On a Tuesday. In a pub! Brilliant! We had a lovely yet small celebration of Grandad’s birthday and stayed out a bit too late which resulted in a bit too late bedtimes and slightly manic children who were clearly over-tired. Oh well. Birthdays only come once a year after all.

Today I managed to do a good design for work with only one edit. And tonight we celebrated my FIL’s Birthday with a pub dinner! A very good day! 💜 #3goodthings #embracehappy My Happiest Moment: Sam made a really sweet card for Grandad’s Birthday thanks to some lovely assistance from one of his keyworkers.
