**Thursday**

Sam and I began our Mummy-Sammy Day with breakfast out at a local garden centre with a friend of ours. We were home in time for lunch and chill out time for Sam while I accomplished a bit of work and made arrangements to meet up with another fellow “work from home mum” on Friday. Following picking Ella up from school, we moved furniture in the lounge and tried on Ella’s competition costume so she could run through her competition routine in the lounge for 5 or so times! I’m not quite a “Dance Mom” but Ella was suitably fed up with me once we finished. I’m so glad she has chosen to focus on dance and acro instead of gymnastics. I don’t think I could handle that!

We enjoyed a comfort dinner of homemade, gluten free macaroni cheese and called it an early night due to a very tired Little Miss. I sent the kids up with Mark to do bedtime so I could help moderate a really fun and full-on Twitter Party for a wonderful educational website/programme I am working with. Twitter Parties are so intense and trying to keep up with everything flying across the columns makes you a bit frantic. Thankfully, Mark was all up to date on his work invoicing so he could enjoy quiet time watching telly while I facilitated the Twitter Party. Tomorrow is our last school day before we break up for the February Half Term. It won’t be much of a holiday as we’re not going anywhere and I still have to squeeze in work while the children are off school. We also have one Dance Festival Competition for Ella on Sunday and one on Thursday so we’ll be pretty busy throughout the week! However, NO SCHOOL RUNS! I’m aiming for the 3 of us to stay in our pyjamas until Noon each day! Goals after all.
